The Birmingham Art Alliance (founded September 2025) is an organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting Birmingham, Alabama's vibrant and diverse artistic community.

We are located at 219 20th Street North, two doors down from Forstall Art Center.

The mission of the Birmingham Art Alliance (BAA) is to promote the diverse creative community of Birmingham, Alabama. The BAA’s goals are to organize public exhibitions of artists’ work, create networking, advocacy, and educational opportunities, so that artists may thrive in their practice and expression of their creative work. The BAA welcomes artists and makers of all mediums to connect, collaborate, and share their creativity with the community.

The annual membership fee for the BAA is $75. This membership fee guarantees inclusion in at least one group show annually. The fee is currently going towards paying rent, and will go towards other necessities in the future. Instead of paying membership fees to the Birmingham Art Alliance Venmo, members will Venmo (@Andy-Forstall) and Andy will transfer the fees to the BAA account. We're doing this to avoid the 1.9% + $0.10 fee per transaction.  This membership also includes a 25% discount on retail art supplies at Forstall Art Center (exceptions and exclusions apply.)
