In this watercolor and acrylic class, we will use a variety of materials including papers, fabric, and paint to create a unique piece of art. The goal of the class is to encourage the student to experiment and push boundaries to enhance their work. The materials used can be canvas and acrylics or paper and watercolor with the addition of pencils, crayons and papers. The student will be exposed to several techniques that can be used in the process. This course is open to seasoned artists and beginners as well. It is an intuitive process that encourages creativity and learning to paint with freedom.
Supplies Needed
Suggested colors (Acrylics or Watercolors)
- Yellow Ochre
- Cadmium Yellow Medium
- Cadmium Orange
- Cadmium Red Light
- Alizarin Crimson
- Ultramarine Blue
- Cobalt Blue
- Canvas for acrylic or watercolor paper if using watercolors
- Brushes Size 14 Round and Size 6 Round
- Textured papers
- Bring photo reference of your choice as inspiration. Several photo references will also be provided
