With so much information in the landscape...let's make it simple.
Create a minimalist landscape with just a few strokes of color with artist Alisa Beck. You will learn how to see and understand the landscape in terms of shape and color, mix colors from a limited palette and achieve an immense variety of language from the basic colors, as well as apply and manipulate paint with a palette knife to blend and shape the landscape form.
Instructor/Venue will provide:
- Bristle brush and chip brush
- Easels

- Paper Towels
- Palette (paper is fine)
- Odorless Mineral Spirits
- Gamblin Galkyd gel medium in a tube
- Palette knife for mixing and applying the paint
- Oil Paints
- Ultramarine Blue
- Cobalt Blue
- Cadmium Red
- Alizarin Crimson
- Cadmium Yellow Light
- Cadmium Yellow or Medium
- Titanium White or Permalba White,
- Transparent Red Oxide or Burnt Sienna
- An adventurous spirit!
