This workshop is for those who want to feel more confident when choosing and mixing colors. Since hands-on learning is one of the best ways to retain information, we'll use R&F's luscious Pigment Sticks (provided) and palette knives to learn about color through guided exercises and self-discovery. I'll show you how you can create dozens of colors from only 3 parent colors + white and how to mix the color you want instead of colors you don't. Our studies will be done on Arches oil paper.Although we'll be using compressed oil paint in class, the skills you learn are applicable to acrylics, watercolor, gouache, encaustic and more.
