Join local painter Terry Strickland for a live brush demo featuring Silver Brush, designed to take the mystery out of choosing and caring for your brushes. Terry will break down common brush types, shapes, and names—explaining which brushes are best for different techniques and why—while demonstrating expressive mark making so you can see how each brush truly performs.

The demo will also cover proper brush cleaning and care, including professional techniques to extend the life of your brushes and even bring dried, stiff brushes back to life. Terry will share product recommendations and best practices, with a focus on oil painting, though artists of all experience levels are welcome.

Bring your old brushes and learn how to revive them—or discover your next favorite brush at the rack.

UPDATED CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the event will receive a refund equal to 50% of the cost of the event. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will not receive a refund. This will help ensure that the instructor will be paid for their time and effort of teaching the event.
