Join local artist Nancy Hollis for an exciting collage workshop. Students will learn how to create dynamic collage backgrounds for illustrative scenes using repurposed magazines, newspapers, and other paper materials. Through layering color, texture, and composition, participants will transform everyday printed pages into expressive visual storytelling elements that support and enhance a narrative scene. Nancy will provide magazines, newspapers, and other paper products, but students are welcome to bring their own.

Supplies Needed

Wood panels, varying sizes
Mod podge
2 inch gesso brush
Ruler
Scissors
X-acto knife
Cutting mat

UPDATED CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the workshop will receive a refund equal to 50% of the cost of the class. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will not receive a refund. This will help ensure that the instructor will be paid for their time and effort of teaching the workshop.
