Long Stitch Book Binding with Vickie Finley

Join local book artist Victoria Finley for a hands-on workshop where you’ll create a one-of-a-kind handmade book from start to finish.

The Long Stitch is used for binding signatures of a book without using glue. We will be sewing each signature through the cover, which has been cut with slots at each station, and creates a pattern of lines that are visible on the spine of the book.

Perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, this workshop offers a welcoming, creative environment where you’ll leave with a finished handmade book and the skills to continue creating at home.

UPDATED CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the workshop will receive a refund equal to 50% of the cost of the class. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will not receive a refund. This will help ensure that the instructor will be paid for their time and effort of teaching the workshop.
