Copper Etching Sheets, 14 Gauge, 8 in. x 10 in.
A copper plate is the substrate for an intaglio print. Plates are etched in acid or engraved using particular tools to make detailed designs that can be inked and reprint over and over. Copper is desirable. It etches more even in acid, holds texture and detail a little finer, and is more durable than other metals.
