Artist Leads feature a 5.6 diameter and are ideal for sketching and drawing. They can be sharpened to a fine point for detailed work. Charcoal Leads can create bold strokes like a graphite stick, with the clean control of a mechanical pencil. They can be used alone or mixed with water and combined with other pastel products. For greater control, they should be used with a lead holder. Nero Leads create deep black lines that are water- and smudge-resistant, and more difficult to break than graphite. Nero leads work excellently in conjunction with traditional charcoal and all water-based media.
