Kaweco Sport Fountain Pens, Fine, Available in 9 Colors
In 1911, something special was created with the Kaweco Sport: a pocket fountain pen that was only 10.5 cm tall when closed and could therefore be carried around easily, but grew to a normal size when the cap was turned. At the time, the pen was advertised especially for high society in evening wear and for sportsmen. That is why it was given the name Sport.
The series offers classic and historical colors and is also characterized by the gold-plated steel nib, the logo cap and the high-quality, gold hot foil embossing. The colors include white, red, burgundy, green, black and navy as well as two other models with the historical patterns Chess and Guilloche.
There are five different nib sizes to choose from for the fountain pen, from extra fine to extra broad. While the extra fine nib (EF) is particularly suitable for small and delicate handwriting, the extra broad nib (BB) is often used for large, dramatic signatures. For beginners, we recommend the M nib size. All nibs are made in Germany.
In addition to the fountain pen, the series is also available as a gel roller, ballpoint pen, mechanical pencil and clutch pencil. Writing instruments from the Classic Sport series are produced and assembled in Germany and are a real quality product.
One of the most famous users was Sepp Herberger. The then coach of the German national football team used the Kaweco Sport to put his winning tactics, which led to the 1954 World Cup title, on paper.
As a perfect complement to the writing instrument, there are matching refills, eleven colorful inks, as well as matching slide-on clips in gold, bronze, silver and black.
